Internet Addiction

Hello students,
This week I'm posting a story about internet addiction, and the way China tries to cure it.  Read (and listen to the story), and respond to the questions below in the comments.

1. Do you think that using the internet for online gaming and social networking websites like facebook is a good thing, especially for children?

2. The story calls the internet "electronic heroin."  Do you think the internet is actually addictive in the same way as drugs?

3. Do you know anyone who has an internet addiction?

  3. This document is very interesting to the new generation. Specially the parents can be children careful with his childrens. I think that on the future this addictions will be one of the most big problem in the world not oly in china. In fact in this moment the society is worried because the childrens and the teenagers dont play on the street with others boys or the relationships are complicated because there isnt contact. Many people feels scared when talk with other in person.

Personally i like my generation when we play on the street ,in the nature with the strings, balls etc

    thanks

  4. I think that a part of it is good, for the communication, enjoyment and because you can find so much information useful but it becomes bad when you exaggerate the time you're doing it and when you begin to prefer to be in internet than to be with your family, your friends and to live a normal life. For children, I don't think that was good because if sometimes it's difficult to adults get control imagine to children.
